Park City
Following the Civil War, As America pushed westward, US soliders discovered silvedr in the Wasatch Mountain. An immediaterush ensured, and Park City was born. Great fortune were made by a lucky few ( By William Randolph Hearst in Particular) But by the second World War, the mines were pretty much played out.
Today, the Quaint Buildings of the Early mining town remain as the Centerpiece of one of the great Ski Areas in the Western United States. This book Documents Park City as it is today in pictures and text, showing the lonely mixture of old and Modern in this town that hosted the 2002 winter Olympics.
